The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN), University of Ibadan Branch, is the official umbrella body for all Muslim students on campus. Established with a profound vision, the organization aims to unite, empower, and support Muslim students in their academic, spiritual, and social pursuits.
At MSSN UI, we foster a vibrant and inclusive community where every member is encouraged to grow and excel. Our diverse programs and activities are designed to cater to the holistic development of our members, ensuring they achieve academic excellence while maintaining strong spiritual and moral values.
Objectives
- To promote Islamic values and principles among Muslim students
- To provide a platform for Muslim students to connect, share ideas, and support one another
- To foster a sense of community and belonging among Muslim students on campus
- To organize Islamic programs, events, and activities that cater to the spiritual and social needs of Muslim students
- To represent Muslim students' interests and concerns on campus
- To promote mutual understanding and harmony between Muslim students and the wider university community
Our activities cut across the following:
- Weekly Islamic lectures and discussions
- Prayer sessions and congregational prayers
- Ramadan programs and Iftar events
- Eid celebrations and festivities
- Charity events and community service
- Educational seminars and workshops
- Social events and gatherings

The Muslim Students'Society of Nigeria (MSSN), University of Ibadan Branch is committed to empowering Muslim students to excel academically, spiritually, and socially, while fostering a vibrant and inclusive community that promotes Islamic values, mutual understanding, and collective growth. To achieve this, MSSN UI will continuously strive towards strengthening the Ummah educationally, economically, spiritually and politically through a wide spectrum of activities in schools and the larger society in partnership with likeminded organizations. To succeed, MSSN must ensure that its members are God fearing, knowledgeable, united and with superior moral values”
